Biological Activity

Description Sulpiride (Dolmatil, Dobren, Sulpyrid, Aiglonyl, Dogmatil) is a dopamine D2-receptor antagonist. It has been used therapeutically as an antidepressant, antipsychotic, and as a digestive aid.

In vivo Sulpiride induces a short-term decrease in 5-hydroxyindoles followed by a long-term increase in 5-hydroxyindoles[1].
