Description PFI-90 is a selective inhibitor of the histone demethylase KDM3B. PFI-90 induces apoptosis and cell differentiation resulting in delayed tumor progression in vivo.

In vitro

PFI-90 is a selective inhibitor of histone demethylase (KDM3B) that inhibits PAX3-FOXO1 action. In RH4 and SCMC cells, PFI-90 induces apoptosis and myogenic differentiation, resulting in the cell death increased. [2]

PFI-90 induces apoptosis and cell differentiation resulting in delayed tumor progression in vivo. [1]

    The impact of PFI-90 on apoptosis inRH4 cells and SCMC cells is investigated by assaying caspase 3 levels in the cells, and by annexin V staining. PFI-90 is associated with myogenic differentiation indicating by gene set enrichment assay (GSEA) in RH4 cells.
