Biological Activity
| Description | ME-344 directly targets the OXPHOS complex 1, a pathway involved in the production of ATP, in the mitochondria. Treatment of tumor cells with ME-344 as a single agent results in a rapid loss of ATP and cancer cell death.ME-344 results in inhibition of cell growth and viability in all the leukemia cell lines with IC50 values in the range of 70–260 nM. | ||
